I decided to support Autism NI, as both my own kids are autistic and it is close to my heart as I can see the struggles that they have had or will have in the future. I am supporting Autism NI as they are going above and beyond to break down the barriers to help families. Autism impacts a lot of people all over the world and what motivated me was just that. Autistic people deserve to be treated like every other person. Autism is a different ability and if I don’t fight for my own kids or for others then who will?
