Payroll Giving

The easiest way to give from your pay!

Payroll Giving is an easy and tax-efficient way to make a regular donation to Autism NI from your salary. By making a small donation every month, you will help us continue to deliver vital services to thousands of autistic people and their families across Northern Ireland.

How it works

If your salary is paid through your company, you can donate through your company’s Payroll Giving Scheme. Setting up to donate through Payroll Giving means that your donation will cost you even less than it would usually, as it comes out of your salary before tax is deducted. This means that if you are a basic rate taxpayer and if you choose to give £10 a month to Autism NI, the gift will only cost you £8 from your net pay. If you pay a higher rate of tax, £10 a month will only cost you £6 from your net pay. In every case, Autism NI will receive the full amount of the donation you have pledged.

Setting up Payroll Giving couldn't be easier

  1. Choose how much you would like to donate each week/month/quarter. Your Payroll Manager or HR department will be able to help set up your regular donation or alternatively you can click here to complete an online application form. You can only sign up to Payroll Giving if your employer is signed up to a Payroll Giving Scheme. If they aren’t signed up to a Payroll Giving Scheme, you can alternatively set up a regular donation directly with Autism NI.
  2. Your donation will be paid out of your wages before you are taxed.

If your employer does not have a Payroll Giving scheme, you can contact Autism NI directly on 028 9040 1729 and we can provide information on how to set up the scheme.
