Volunteering Opportunities at Autism NI
We have a range of volunteering opportunities, from getting involved in local fundraising activities and events to volunteering a couple of hours at our collections.
Whatever your background, interests, or what time you have available, you'll find that volunteering with us is an incredibly rewarding experience. Volunteers play an invaluable role within Autism NI and our work would not be possible without the dedication of our volunteers freely giving up their time to make a difference for others.
Volunteer at our collections
We hold a number of collections in local towns and cities across Northern Ireland. If you can spare an hour or two of your time to help at these local collections, please get in touch. We’d love it if you could join us.
The money that we raise from collections will contribute towards our vital autism services across Northern Ireland, including our Helpline service, Early Intervention service and local Support Courses for parents/carers.
Volunteer at our events
We have a number of key events that we host every year to raise vital funds for our services. At these events we require volunteers to help with a number of jobs including stewarding, managing crowds, giving out packs/refreshments to attendees, and cleaning up.
Without the help and support of our volunteers, we wouldn’t be able to hold these events for our families. If you can help, please get in touch. We’d love it if you could join us.
Set up or join a local fundraising group
If you have a good network of friends and contacts in your community or are a member of a local group or club, you could set up your own group and help raise funds on our behalf.
Host a number of fundraising events and activities in your local area regularly and contribute to Autism NI’s services.
