Our Impact Award training will help sports clubs achieve the following outcomes:
• Increase accessibility - Over 1 in 20 children have a diagnosis of autism (DHSSPS, 2023). By achieving the Impact Award, your sports club will be able to promote best practice and social inclusion for the whole community.
• Become equality compliant - every organisation is legally obligated to provide equal access to services for autistic people as per the 2011 Amendment, to the Disability Discrimination Act (NI), 1995.
• Increase staff confidence - confident, knowledgeable, and skilled staff will improve inclusion and strengthen the club’s reputation, and performance.
• Increase accessibility and inclusion - small reasonable adjustments can make a big difference. Families will build trust and confidence in your team.

• Three-year individualised support: Aimed at supporting the development and implementation of an autism inclusion action plan.
• Champion inclusion: Use of the Impact Award logo on the club websites and any club communications.
• Recognition: Presentation and display of an Autism NI Impact Award plaque in your club.
• Partnership promotion: In addition to the promotion as an Impact Champion on our website and across all our digital channels, we will work with each sports club to help promote your good work.
