World Autism Month takes place in April every year. During this month, we encourage schools, community groups or businesses to get involved. Last year we celebrated the spectrum in colour to highlight unique differences in everyone.

Our campaign message for World Autism Month is 'Different, Not Less'. Our 2026 campaign featured a number of voices from the autistic community and their views on how we can build a kinder and more inclusive society.

Different, Not Less

Autism is often invisible. Every autistic person experiences the world differently, facing challenges that may go unnoticed but that doesn’t make them any less important. Our campaign shines a light on these experiences, helping us all understand autism in a deeper, more empathetic way. It’s about fostering respect, inclusion, and a meaningful shift in how we see and support each other.
