1. All participants must complete the online booking form in full to register for the event.
a. By completing this form, each participant acknowledges and accepts these Terms and Conditions.
b. Any participant under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult registered for the event.
c. This colour run is for all ages, however all parents/carers are responsible for the health and safety of their own child/children.
d. Upon registering for the event, you agree that you are physically capable of covering the distance of the course. If during the event you decide to change the route or distance, you do so at your own risk.
e. On registration an emergency contact name and number must be provided.
2. The course is set over grass, and the terrain is therefore uneven in places
a. The course is suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
3. Parents and guardians are advised to consider their child before taking part in the event as some children may find the paint stations noisy and there will be clouds of paint.
4. The event has been organised with safety being paramount but by entering the Autism NI Colour Run you do so entirely at your own risk.
5. Participants are welcome to walk, run, and jog the event. This is not a racing event, and no timings will be given.
6. The coloured powdered paint is non-toxic and bio-degradable and will not affect the environment.
a. The paint should not cause harm to participants.
b. It is recommended that if you have a respiratory, skin or medical condition that could be affected or if you are unsure, you should consult your doctor before taking part. The paint is not suitable for anyone allergic to corn starch.
c. We recommend that you wear the sunglasses provided to protect your eyes, and if you wish, a hat to stop the powdered paint from getting in your hair.
d. Please ensure that you wear appropriate clothing you don’t mind having the paint thrown at, and appropriate footwear as the ground may be uneven in places.
9. If you are involved in an accident and the situation arises that you are not capable of making the decision to call the emergency services, you agree that a member of the Autism NI team or a member of public may call on your behalf. First aiders will be provided at the event.
10. We are unable to accommodate dogs at the event.
11. Autism NI cannot be held responsible for any personal injury, accident, loss or damage.
12. We reserve the right to cancel the event due to extreme weather conditions or any other reasons out of our control.
13. There will be an official event photographer and videographer present at the Autism NI Colour Run. Images and videos from the day will be posted on the Autism NI social media channels, website and may also be used for future marketing and advertising purposes. If you do not wish to feature in official photographs or videos, please inform a member of staff.
14. Disclaimer: Each participant voluntarily assumes any risks of participating in the event and takes full responsibility for all damages, liabilities, losses, or expenses incurred as a result of their participation.
