Our '12 Runs of Christmas' is a festive virtual fundraising challenge, encouraging individuals, families, workplaces and running clubs across Northern Ireland to come together and complete 12 runs over 12 days during December in aid of Autism NI.
The challenge is designed to be inclusive, flexible and accessible to all abilities. Participants can choose a distance that works for them each night – whether that’s 1km, 5km, 10km or any distance they feel comfortable with. Participants can run, jog or walk at their own pace, making it easy to take part regardless of experience or fitness level. As a virtual challenge, participants can complete their runs wherever they are and at a time that suits them, between 1st and 31st December 2026. This makes it easy to fit the challenge around work, family life and the busy festive period.
Whether you take part as an individual, get your colleagues together for lunch-time runs, organise a club Christmas run, or get the whole family involved, '12 Runs of Christmas' is a fun way to stay active, connect with others and make a difference this Christmas.
Every mile completed and every pound raised will help Autism NI continue to support autistic people and their families across Northern Ireland. Fundraising will help us provide vital services, support and advocacy, including our Autism NI Helpline, which provides advice and support to thousands of people each year.
