Autism NI wouldn’t be able to provide our vital services without the help and support of our volunteers. By joining one of our local fundraising groups, you can contribute your time to making a real difference to autism services in Northern Ireland.
How does volunteering work?
Volunteering your time is an amazing way to support our charity. You will be helping to raise vital funds in your local community to support autistic families in your area.
Our groups will:
- Meet once every month or two months
- Distribute collection boxes in their local areas
- Attend local cheque presentations
- Organise one local fundraising event throughout the year
- Be a Community Champion for Northern Ireland’s Autism Charity.
By being part of one of our fundraising groups, this will enable you to make new friends, make a meaningful difference to autism services in your area and learn new skills.
Support from Autism NI
Autism NI will be there to support your fundraising group every step of the way. We can provide you with:
- Practical advice, support and assistance with event planning
- Branded merchandise and materials
- Promotion with local press
- Facilitating regular meetings
We are always looking for new group members, and whatever time you can afford to give would be very beneficial to the charity.
