Course Overview
Course Location: Holywood Arches Library, 12 Holywood Rd, Belfast BT4 1NT.
Course date: 21st April 2026, 5.45-7.45pm
The session will be fully interactive and will include opportunities for discussion and question and answer sessions.
Course cost: This session is funded by East Belfast Innovation Fund and is therefore free for parents/carers of an autistic person to attend.
What you will learn
This course will explore how to create and use visuals to support your child's communication, routines and wellbeing. The course will cover visual schedules, choice boards, transition supports and emotional regulation visuals. As part of the course, we will have sample visuals available with a laminator and resources, so you can make visuals and take them home to use.
Who should attend
This course is only available for parents and carers of autistic people (or those awaiting assessment) to attend.
