Course Overview

Course Format: This is an on-demand pre-recorded webinar. Once you have booked your place, you will receive an email with a direct link to access the webinar. 

Course cost: This session is funded by Autism NI and is therefore free for parents/carers of an autistic person to attend. 

What you will learn

This webinar will explore the key differences related to autism that may impact on a person’s anxiety and stress levels related to school. The webinar will explore how you can recognise contributing factors to school-related anxiety and minimise anxiety triggers for the child or young person experiencing school ‘can’t’. 

The webinar will also explore a range of strategies to help increase emotional understanding, emotional regulation and coping strategies to help an autistic individual reduce the impact of school-related anxiety.

Suitable for pre and post autism diagnosis. 

Who should attend 

This course is only available for parents and carers of autistic people to attend.
