Course Overview
Course Format: This is an on-demand pre-recorded webinar. Once you have booked your place, you will receive an email with a direct link to access the webinar.
Course cost: This session is funded by National Lottery Awards for All and is therefore free for parents/carers of an autistic person to attend.
What you will learn
This course will explore the importance of building a positive autistic identity with your autistic child, to promote their self-esteem, confidence and wellbeing. The course will include how to talk about autism and neurodiversity in an age appropriate and positive way, including using positive role models. The course will also explore a range of strategies to build self care activities with your child to promote positive wellbeing.
Suitable for pre and post autism diagnosis.
Who should attend
This course is only available for parents and carers of autistic people to attend.
