Autism and Learning Disability: Supporting your young child

Course aim

Course Aim: This course will explore the key characteristics of autism for young children, who may also have developmental delays or a learning disability. It will explore practical ways to build communication and connection for your child and how you can tailor visual supports to meet the cognitive level of your child.

Please note: The session will be facilitated on the Zoom platform. Registered delegates will receive a link to access the session approximately 48 hours before the session to enable access. The virtual training will be fully interactive and will include opportunities for discussion and question and answer sessions.

For funded places, please contact Autism NI as soon as possible if you are unable to use your place, as we can then offer this place to another family on the waiting list.
