Volunteering

Volunteer with us and help build an inclusive society for autistic people and their families.

We have a range of volunteering opportunities, from getting involved in local fundraising activities, to campaigning, or by sharing advice and offering support to autistic people and their families.

Whatever your background, interests, or what time you have available, you'll find that volunteering with us is an incredibly rewarding experience. Volunteers play an invaluable role within Autism NI and our work would not be possible without the dedication of our volunteers freely giving up their time to make a difference for others.

Collection box co-ordinator
Look after the collection boxes in your local area, distribute them in local shops, collect them afterwards, and count and bank the donations.

Set up or join a local fundraising group
If you have a good network of friends and contacts in your community, or are a member of a local group or club, you could set up your own group and help raise funds on our behalf.

Support our annual World Autism Acceptance Week campaign
Help organise local collections, or just help out for a few hours at a collection or event near you.

For more information on volunteering, please call 028 9040 1729 (option 1) or email info@autismni.org
