KEYHOLE® Early Intervention Programme

Our KEYHOLE® Programme is a two-day training programme specifically for Early Years professionals.

This training programme aims to help professionals develop their skills and confidence in supporting young autistic children enhance their development from a young age. Topics include play, communication, social interaction, behaviour, and the Early Years role. As part of this course, all delegates receive a range of comprehensive resources and a ‘Structured Teaching Starter Kit’ with a range of toys, activities, and visuals that you can implement within the workplace, worth over £50.

Key Objectives of the course:

  1. Explore a range of differences an autistic pre-school child may have in the early year’s environment.

  2. Be able to implement strategies to support autistic children within a pre-school setting.

  3. Explore using a range of structured visual approaches to support autistic children in your environment.

  4. Gain knowledge of how to structure physical environments and activities for autistic children.

  5. Develop skills in supporting and interacting with autistic pre-school children and their parents.

  6. Receive guidance on how to use the Connecting with Autism ‘Structured Teaching Starter Kit’.
