GIRLS AND AUTISM PROJECT

Our Girls and Autism Project (GAP) is funded to work with girls (aged 11 -18 years) and their families in the Northern Trust area. The service aims to remove barriers for autistic girls within the home, school and community environments to support achievement, enjoyment and full participation. We can support each girl and her family from 6 – 26 weeks, providing tailored programs based on individual and family needs.

Autistic girls and women

Often, autistic girls and women are diagnosed later in life compared to males, due to misconceptions.
